NMT => DMT

Migrated topic.

Hi all,
On various pulls of my latest supplier Confusa Root Bark, I have obtained largely and almost exclusively NMT. I was wondering if there is any way to convert the NMT into DMT.
I think I remember a brief passing comment by someone in another thread, but unsure where it was.
Any help would be much appreciated, rather than let this be a waste. (I really do not like NMT effects).
Thanks heaps.

To be honest, I did neither of those tests, it was only subjective effects that were definitely not DMT.
I didn't think there were many other candidates when dealing with confusa root bark.
Perhaps I just got scammed :/ or confusa is seasonal.

seasonal is plausible, and I was merely postulating. I'm not familiar with that particular
plant source, it could also be that certain sources don't have as efficient conversion as mimosa hostilis. frankly, I find it interesting that NMT has activity.

the conversion from NMT to DMT is a sort of grey area, it's technically a chemical reaction which falls into the realm of synthesis. however, seasonal extractions would be an intriguing experiment, enzymes can more selectively and efficiently do the conversion than any synthesis

..NMT has activity, but you'd need to be vaporising 60-90mg to really notice anything..

the few instances where people have tried confirmed NMT they have, in all cases, liked the effects, which are more meditative and calming than psychedelic at medium dose ranges..
really, the only thing i can imagine not liking would be that it's not producing a sudden, strong DMT experience (if that is what one was expecting) ..there's not much else to not like about NMT below 90mg..it's relaxing..

can you be more specific about these effects you don't like
quite a few people do not like certain doses (low>medium) DMT effects..

also, some people do not like the effects of DMT-N-Oxide

..if A. confusa follows australian acacia variability patterns, then collection after heavy rain would result less DMT, and if still alkaloids, more beatcarbolines and simple tryptamine..

it could be simple tryptamine you don't like (which is quite likely)
the majority of extractions, and all known chemical tests, have found DMT/NMT in confusa, but always enough DMT to produce usually strong effects..most people like the synergy/interaction between NMT/DMT..

but without clearer effect info (& chemical tests, but that not possible) it's hard to know what you've actually tried..

so again, what is it you actually don't like here..
