It makes a lot of sense though, if you think about it. It just goes to show all the different ways reality is interconnected.

Summary:
Researchers at MIT, Microsoft, and Adobe have developed an algorithm that can reconstruct an audio signal by analyzing minute vibrations of objects depicted in video. In one set of experiments, they were able to recover intelligible speech from the vibrations of a potato-chip bag photographed from 15 feet away through soundproof glass.
 
That's pretty cool, I never knew that was possible. I kind of suspected this might be an extension of pre-existing technology but I thought it was neat.
