swims cat just mixed 100g's powdered MHRB into his basified solution of water+100g's of NaOH and has stirred/mixed and put it away for a an hour or so.

swims cat wanted me to post this here in case he runs into any problems and also just to document the progress of his extraction.

In about 45 minutes to an hour swims cat will be adding 100ml's of naphtha and moving on to the next stages of the process.

swims cat hopes to yield some beautiful xstals for further research into hyperspace.

I will post back as soon as swims cat updates me on what hes up to.

advice: use less naphta, make more pulls.. make like 50ml warm naphtha pulls.. this way you can straight away stick your naphtha in the freezer, because it will be saturated enough. If you use too much naphtha, little dmt will crash out, so you will have to evap some of your naphtha before.. so better make more (like 6) and smaller pulls

Remember to make many cycles of mixing and letting separate before pulling the solvent, so that as much dmt as possible has been dissolved in it.

Use more lye imo, also if you are using a baster for pulling i would recommend not using 50ml of naptha for pulls, use around 80ml or so.
 
the trick is to first crudely pass all the naphtha + possibly some of basified liquid to a tall thinner container.. then separate accurately until the last bit, and throw it back in the main container.. then you dont have to use much naphtha and separation is easy

YES!!!

that is the key to doing small pulls.

Dude likes to use tall vials bout 1" in diameter, perfect for it!

this is a MUST for STB
 
Swim decided to go with 80ml's instead of 100.

the naphtha has now been added and swims cat is inverting/mixing the soup every 15-20 minutes.

swims cat also has his mimo soup jar sitting in a hot water bath in between mixing to aid in extraction.

yes, swim has a perfect glass container that he bought from an organic food store. its about 1.5" in diameter and about 3" tall. that is what he plans on using for this extraction.

update:

the first pull has been pulled and placed into the freezer.

swim is hoping for a great yield.:d
 
swim just took his first pull out of the freezer and there is definitely a nice amount in there already.

swim poured off the naphtha back into the mimo soup and the container is currently in the fridge drying for a bit.

swim is getting tired. he is going to have to finish up tomorrow.

swim was wondering.. What is an average yield for 100G's mhrb using this nomans tek?
 
Alright cool, that is about what swim thought.

The first pull yielded about 150mg's and there were tons of crystals floating around in the naphtha that didnt stick to the glass so i know i will be pulling a good amount more.:d

swim has put the second pull into the freezer and he will update me with results soon.
 
White doesn't mean clean :)

If it's harsh to smoke i would recommend a re-x or next time you do an extraction do a sodium carbonate wash before you freeze :)

My second extraction was pure white and i thought wow! this looks great but smoking it was harsh and a re-x sorted it amazingly, peace bro.
 
Ok, i wasnt aware.

it does seem a bit harsh, but not horribly so.

swim will certainly take this into consideration and probably give it a try in the future.

I just learned that trick the other week there. Saves bags of time and you dont get repetitive strain on the arms and hands going from jar to dish a million times.
 
the third pull has now been placed into the freezer and the 1st/2nd pull have been dried and put away.

*the third pull has now been scraped and dried and added to the rest. its weighing in at 300mg's right now.

these are small 30-50ml pulls so it will probably take another 3-4 pulls to get the rest im guessing.

The fourth pull is now in the freezer.

I will report when i wake up.

oh yea, i also smoked some and have a report to type in when i awake as well.8)

The fourth pull has now been scraped and added to the lot.

Its now weighing in at just about 400mg's. swim seems to be averaging about 100mg's per pull, but keep in mind once again he is doing very small pulls (30-50mls at the most) due to lack of space in his freezer at the moment as well as the temperature. (doesn't get super cold, but it works)

The fifth pull has now been placed into the freezer for precipitation.

The yields are starting to decrease so swim is guessing probably 3 more and he should have all of it.

swim is also guessing that he will have around 0.7g's by the end of it. not great but not bad.

the fifth pull has now been taken out of the freezer and placed in the the refrigerator to properly decrease in temperature so condensation doesnt form on the glass and redissolve any of the xstals.

swim cant wait to scrape up the results. the snow seems to keep coming.8)
 
the soup has now stopped producing xstal.

final results weigh in at a little over 500mg's.

hopefully swim can get it up to a gram next time.

White is certainly clean enough, no reason to clean it and possibly loose some of your yield if its already white in the first place..unless you picked up some of the black goop in your pulls, in which case the spice probably wont be white anyway. I and others i know actually like the yellowy tinted spice as opposed to white..And the harshness of the smoke seems to be more dependent on the smoking method than the spice. I've never noticed a difference in harshness between white, yellow, or anywhere in-between when using the same smoking method for all.
I really can't imagine white spice being a harsher smoke than super white spice lol 😉
