Noob mistake is all hope lost

Hey Nexus,

So I spent hours and hours making ayhuasca with tedious percision and ended up ruining the whole batch. During the finall reduction I was under the influence of a heavy harmine dose and forgot all about the brew. When I finally checked on the brew it was just a thick layer of dark-amber resin stuck to the pan. After being massivley dissapointed for a little bit I went to bed but the next moring I scraped all the resin into a cup. The dry crud brown looking powder is the result of 180 grams of just psychotria viridis tea being boiled down. I was wondering if I could encapsule the powder and swallow it along with flowing visions harmine. I want to be sure that you can even do that because its like a full two cups of brown dirt I would have to swallow. Also, are the alkaloids safe of could they have been damaged? They were in salt form so I dont believe that the heat would have been problem. Thanks guys:d

it might still be good. If all the water was boiled out of the brew, then the remaining resin may have heated up well beyond boiling, and beyond the point at which the alkaloids will be destroyed. Other users here do not seem to report good results with resin. One reason may be that the resin is not digested well, and does not have good bio availability. You may want to just add a bit of water, dissolve the resin, and take it as a goopy drink.

Nice, thanks for the help. That's a good point that it would have gone well over boiling point but, I think I got this one just as the water had run out. Drinking it in a sludge would be pretty wretched but, if I find out it would work for sure it would be worth it. Thanks again:d
