Hi, newly joined here but have been poking around for some time.
Normally I avoid online interactions instead choosing to socialize more with small groups of people I know in person. The thought of all the people, corporations, Ais, etc. that populate the internet, that I’ll have no connection with beyond my computer screen frankly freaks me out. I happily look to the internet for information but don’t participate in the two way social interactions. But, along comes DMT, and no one I know talks about it. But lately, that is what is on my mind.
So, here I am.
I tried DMT about a year ago from a vape pen shared by someone I trust, and I was hooked. I took over that vape as my own and learned how to time the puffs to get the most out of that little device. Intrigued, I began to read about what I was experiencing and found this site.
As I watched the juice level shrink, panic set in realizing that I may run out. I read up on DMT extraction here on the nexus. I did an A/B extraction and had freebase. Then I’m back here to find out how to smoke it. I learned about and cobbled together a few different smoking devices. Then I did another extraction so I’d have something to make changa with. The HIELO tek inspired me to try making vape juice. I figured out local sources for chemicals and acquired an interest in glass lab-ware. I started eyeing my neighbor's cactus. I tried rue in a few different ways. I made DMT fumarate. (but have yet to try pharmahuasca). I tried using benzoic acid. I want to try all of the teks. I’m accumulating too many little jars of DMT of different colors and forms. I’ve got a bit of 5-MEO-DMT that I am working up the courage to try. It seems endless, the number of different directions to go, from the spirituality and existence topics, the chemistry of extraction, the engineering of smoking devices, the rituals, all the other entheogens, and that CIELO thread that I’m afraid to start.
I am here with a renewed interest in chemistry, a spare bedroom turned into something of a lab, drug paraphernalia piling up, talking of extra-dimensional beings, and my wife doesn’t understand,
This DMT-Nexus site has been very good to me as a source of information. I’ve pursued a lot of topics through the various sub-forums and found answers to most of my question with the Search function. Lately I’ve just taken an interest in what the latest posts are about, and every once in a while there is something I want to chime in about. That gets me here – signing up so I can join in.
About my username: I don’t remember much from most DMT trips except a very familiar buzzing and then sensing that multiple beings are welcoming me back to some familiar space – very consistently. It reminds me of the scenes where Norm enters Cheers.
