Normal Return,No potency?

I tried Cybs Salt tek for the first time.Ive used nomans tek with great results before but after reading all the positive things about cybs tek,i thought i would try it.I started with 50 Grams of mimosa from a vendor I have used before,the only difference was I got shredded bark instead of powder.I used a blender and got it as fine as I could.i followed the tek exactly and after 3 pulls , had well over a gram.Dried it like normal with a fan blowing over the dish.It stayed moist and never really completely dried.After taking a hit,it tasted like dmt,looked like dmt but the potency wasn’t there.You can feel it and almost mildly hallucinate,but it doesn’t do anything past that.I used non iodized salt,sunnyside naphtha,distilled water.Any ideas what I did wrong? Thanks
 
Chances are it's your consumption method that is off this time round, there's not really any difference in the final product at all between the various freeze precipitation extraction techniques, just maybe a difference in the final amount you get out or the time it takes.

Put another way: there's hardly anything else present in basified MHRB soup that will dissolve into naphtha and then precipitate out when cooled, apart from DMT.

Also DMT can be a variable experience anyway, according to your set and setting, maybe try again a few times if you've only given it one shot so far.

The "staying moist" aspect of your final product is a bit odd for sure, maybe it had some water in there too? I have no idea how this might affect consumption chemically, but it might make a thermal difference and make it throw off more visible vapour than normal so you then underdose. But that's pretty much speculation on my part.
 
Thanks fractals!..I still have 50 grams of mimosa so I’m going to try again.I forgot to mention that I hold the hit in and can see there’s smoke,but I blow out absolutely no smoke at all .Thats never happened before.I will update after I’m done with the next one.Thanks for your help!
 
Well I did a simple extraction on the remaining 50 g of mimosa and 1st pull was the same,beautiful white fluffy crystals but once again no potency..Before the 2nd pull,I kept it on medium-high(more medium) heat the whole time for about 24 hours,,not a huge return but it was bright yellow and extremely potent.I guess I’ll just chalk it up to unknown 🤷‍♂️

Was yours jurmea from “ Nat..”ether company? I had a very similar results with half of the last 100 grams I got from them. But every other time it has been great. I just chalked it up to me fucking something up. But after reading this I’m curious.

White, fluffy crystals might seem less potent for a wide variety of possible reasons. It can be as simple as whether you weigh your doses or eyeball them. The yellow form will be much denser than the white, so what appears visually to be the same willbe a significantly smaller dose in the case of the fluffy stuff.

White, fluff crystals can, paradoxically, be harder to vaporise rapidly enough.

Or there may have been some kind of chemical difference which, in absence of an analysis, we can only speculate on.
 
I have had bark that was like that for w/e reason, once. A lot of it. It yielded only like .5% and was a weak delayed trip. I don’t know how to explain it but it was def DMT.

I still have some and I use it for oral but I need to take about 20 grams of it. It’s not just me my wife needs much more of this bark too.

It looks smells tastes like mimosa and works fine, it’s just real weak bark. I wonder if it’s not even hostilis.
