nothings working (high tolerance?)

this is not a chem question

OK, swim has done two extractions. one extremely impure mescaline citrate (questionable and source shows it may of not be san pedro) and one mescaline acetate extract (from a more trustworthy vendor, getting good yields using 69ron's tek). So far both have felt inactive, perhaps a mild alteration definately not stimulation. also, about a year ago swim ate peruvian torch on two seperate occasions (same vendor) and both felt about the same as they would in the future. All of these preparation have been followed very closely and swim is starting to feel that their failures are not due to human error but just his body.

has anyone heard of high tolerance to mescaline before? swim is on a ssri (fluoxetine, 40mg daily). in the past this muffled the effects of psilocybin and also mdma. even off medication the effects of mdma were somewhat fleeting. he definately opens up but not like most people, its more stimulation and less empathy. so in total, swim's relationship with tyrptamines is great but when it comes to the phenylethylamines, shit sucks..
 
SWIM would guess there will definitely be problems with the effects while your using fluoxetine seeing as Mescaline acts on the the same pathways that Fluox is regulating/inhibiting.

Furthermore, it can be very dangerous to take an ssri with something like mdma, I would be very careful about what you combine with antidepressants, especially Phens. And you should really work at getting yourself well and off Fluoxetine before experimenting with other drugs.
 
wasn't trying to have a dig, its just that Fluox is a far more powerful drug than most people make out, it can have some nasty effects when combined with certain phens.

In saying that, SWIM has no idea what happens when combined with Mesc so your probably fine... But wouldnt you rather be free from having to take fluox every day? Take your time to work on getting off it first
