Hey. I'm new. Should smoked DMT make the lips and tongue numb? I know if I do it right I shouldn't even know that I have lips or a tongue, but I was just smoking a small amount and it made my tongue numb, and I wasn't sure if this should happen, so I wanted to check, just to make sure what I have is all DMT. Also, afterwards it seems to take alot out of me physically. I get real tired. Is this normal? Thanks.
 
What about the smoke,is it harsh? I think maybe you should clean-up your spice doing a recrystalization on it and maybe an ammonia wash.This is most likely caused by left over hydroxides in you spice.I had some uncleaned spice that did just that,and after cleaning it up it was nice spice. Also itr shouldn't take a toll on you physically and make you feel tired.After a comedown from a good hit of spice I usually feel refreshed and feel like I charged my batteries.Was your spice extracted from Mimosa hostilis or from phallaris? If it was the latter you will not only have DMT.but also 5meo-DMT which is supposed to cause a heavy body load.and it will also contain bufotenine(the garbage tryptamine)
 
The smoke is harsh, but not so harsh that I have a hard time keeping it in. It does feel like it's hurting my lungs. It's extracted from Mimosa Hostilis. I didn;t clean it because I was so eager to be done, and I didn't want to lose any. It looks pretty clean, it's a very pale yellow, or white with a yellow tint. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something really wrong.
 
was it evapped or freeze precipitated? if evapped, there is a lot more garbage in it than if it was freeze precipitated.you should recrystalize,your lungs will thank you for it.when I first tried evapped shit because I too was anxious to try it my lungs hurt all the next day.when smoking clean spice in a sandwich of two layers of ash it is so smooth you can hardly taste it.
 
It was freeze precipitated. I used the Marsofold Tek, except instead of Naptha, I used Bestine. I couldn't find a good brand of Naptha to use. Thanks for the help though. I'll try a recrystalization.
 
ain't nothing wrong with Bestine,It is pure heptane.Just use some of that fresh bestine to re-xtalize your spice and you should have some nice spice.I re-xtalize about 4 times to get a super clean spice that can be snorted without burning the shit outta my nose.
