This thread inspired me to re-test my nutmeg infused olive oil this morning, via the transdermal route.About two tablespoons of the oil were applied to various skin surfaces, principally the inner thighs and the forearms, in two sessions. This time the effects initially consisted of marked drowsiness, difficulty in forming thoughts, and poor concentration. About four hours into the experience, after drinking a couple of cups of coffee, I succumbed to the drowsiness and lay down for a while. There were noticeable CEV's, mostly coloured blobs forming a mandala-like pattern.I remained in a hard-to-recollect state of twilight reverie for about 90 minutes and got up feeling quite refreshed and somewhat frisky. Thereafter I enjoyed a good session battering away on the drum kit which went rather better than usual - I'm a fairly rubbish drummer with no formal training whatsoever - as it seemed much easier to engage with the pure physicality of the rhythm.All-in-all I'm feeling good now but the drowsiness detracted from the productivity potential of the day, although I didn't really fancy scraping mortar off old bricks anyhow.
