A friend is looking to extract some DMT from native plants to the area. He/she is doing this because of the recent crackdown on methamphetamines and such over the past few years, and is a bit off on ordering it over the border. He/she lives in an area of Canada where the options are limited to three possible candidates.

Phalaris arundinacea (Reed Canary Grass) - Leaves contain DMT, 5-MeO-DMT,
and related compounds (Smith 1977)
0.0004-0.121% Total Alkaloids (Dried) Lycaeum (DMT, Life and the Universe)

Phragmites australis (Common Reed) - DMT in roots.

Lespedeza bicolor - DMT, 5-MEO-DMT in leaves and root bark (Ott)

These are the only choices in the area containing DMT, or derivatives. If anyone could give input as to what he/she can best use, and furthermore some guidance towards what teks are best, I am sure he/she will greatly appreciate it.

I think you'll be best to stick with MHRB. I have not heard of any problems with orders to Canada.

The crackdown on meth and other related substances has not affected MHRB in North America. The DEA is well aware of DMT, but they focus their efforts on other substances (for now).
