Hi, everyone. This is my first post. I've been lurking these pages for years, since it first began, I'm pretty sure. I've had more accounts and screennames on here than I can remember. Fortunately I remembered this one, I even got the password right on the first shot.
So first of all I'd like to thank everyone on here for maintaining such a quality site. I haven't read anything on here for quite some time, but I've always appreciated the abundance of accurate and relevant information available on here. And perhaps more importantly, the lack of crap. Other sites with similar topics are overrun with junk. Conflicting and just plain wrong information, most of which seems to be contributed by adolescent boys posing as experts. It's really difficult to find relevant information on those sites. Getting my feet wet in mycology was a nightmare, having to scroll through hundreds of topics about the smoking of various things, all sorts of household products or banana peels or blotter LSD or whatever before finding anything worth reading. That has never been the case for me on the Nexus, I've always been able to find what I've needed fairly quickly.
So I've been around a long time, although I've never interacted. DMT has fascinated me for years. I first learned of it's existence shortly after my first few experiments with LSD. Skimming a book in the high school library (yes, this was back when people actually used books to do research. Do they even have high school libraries anymore? I recently met a group of 18 year olds, none of whom knew how to read an analog clock, I guess they don't teach that anymore-blew my mind. So the extinction of the high school library certainly wouldn't surprise me) I learned about "the business man's psychedelic" or something to that effect: a very powerful short acting psychedelic drug called DMT. I researched as much as I could, learned that it could be made at home (with phalaris grass, I don't remember mhrb being mentioned til years later) and always wanted to try my hand at it. It would be a full 20 years until that time came. My initial attempts were all failures, either because of bunk ingredients, or my inability to find proper solvents due to most of them being banned in my state, we have the strictest air quality laws in the US here. My inexperience made it difficult to figure out where I was going wrong, but I kept at it, and after lots of trial and error and plenty of mistakes I'm happy to say that I'm quite skilled in the process. And I utilized the Nexus the whole time, from failure to the brown goo of my first successes to the beautiful crystal shards of the present, the Nexus has been a much valued resource. Special thanks to Cyb and Earthwalker, without their teks I'm not sure if I would have ever succeeded. And also thanks to Benzyme, for just generally having interesting things to say. And of course The Traveler, for having the insight to put this all together.
Okay, so now that I've introduced myself, I'm going to get to the main reason I've decided to finally post after all these years of silence: I need some help. I've recently found myself in some hot water. I'm really not sure how hot this water is yet, but to spare you the details, I very much need to speak with a good attorney. If anyone has anything to offer: advice, suggestions, pro bono criminal defense services in California, absolutely anything, please let me know. For obvious reasons, I don't really want to go into detail. But I will say this: a search warrant was served at a relative's house where I get my mail, some items were confiscated, and a notice from the local hazmat was put on the door, warning that no one is allowed to enter until it is deemed safe by the Fire Marshal. I haven't spoken to the police since I wasn't there at the time and have not returned, and as far as I know no arrest warrant has been issued, but I'm worried that charges may be pending and don't know what to do. All I can think of is to consult an attorney, but I have no money, so that seriously limits my options. It's been nearly a month since this happened. Any ideas?
