Old member new account

Hello, I go by "NEITHERHERE" from the old forum. I remember porting my account over to the new forum and shelving the account for later use. When I went to get into it today I couldn't find any way into my account for some reason . Even the email I set up for the old account has zero mention of the account and isn't receiving new emails from the nexus. I suspect I got paranoid and shuffled things around so I couldn't access it again. But I digress. It is me, NeitherHere. And in a clever attempt to save my namesake ive made the mew account with a period at the end of the name to keep things simple.

I'll probably be active on here seasonally. I don't partake through out the year for personal reasons but I'll probably be more active through fall and winter due to neurological conditions that day and psilocybin address for me. Namely cluster headaches, migraines and depression.

I hope to rekindle old friendships in the chat and that I may be a helpful member of the community. Thanks for your time, NeitherHere.

Well this is damn embarrassing... I've already forgotten my new password. ADHD is a cruel disorder .. 16 characters feels.... Excessive?

I found some resolution to my password issue but now I can't seem to get into chat? Is it because I'm a new account? Thanks for your time guys

Indeed a few folks had issues migrating their accounts, but we're here to help. Am I to understand you wish to regain access to your original account NeitherHere, or do you prefer to keep this new one and start fresh?

Also, what URL are you using to access the chat? It should be this one - Login

If you are getting an error there, please let me know what it says.

Thank you for reaching out so promptly. Dreamer helped me regain access to my account. I'm not sure if something went wrong switching my account over or if I attempted to abandon it but there was no associated email on file. So when I went to reset my password and checked what should have been the associated email there was nothing there. Weird ordeal but I'm incredibly happy with modmin for the prompt assistance and willingness to help me in this situation rather than making me start fresh as a seemingly new face. I'm in no position to donate at the moment as I have ongoing medical issues destroying my finances but I do hope and plan to become an ongoing supporter in the future. The Nexus is not only another place of socialization and education for me but is also integral to me physical and spiritual wellfare.

If you could pm me instructions on how to contribute when I am ready in the future I would appreciate it.

Now that's lovely to hear! You need not worry yourself about not being able to contribute currently, health should always come first! Plus, there are many other ways to contribute, like interacting with other members on the forum in a constructive way, educating people, helping them out with emotional support, etc.
