On my to buy list.

Migrated topic.
If you're just extracting spice, you'd need far less stuff than that, and some of those things you might not use and others you definitely won't use. Take a look at what your tek calls for. I'd just hate to see you with all that glass and be out the bread with no use for a lot of the stuff.

@pup I have a general interest in chemistry and O-chem, I do plan on using the equipment for other things. It is a bit of a budding interest, but I would like to get a good head start on the equipment now rather than find some fun thing to do and not have the equipment for it.

Yeah the price is a bit of a put off. But when it comes to things I tend to like to do things as professional as possible.

For all the stuff thats in there that is very VERY cheap. However nobody needs 4 condensers. 1 of each size (29/14) suffices. What will come handy would be a seperating funnel and maybe some Erlenmeyer.

If you plan on doing more organic chemistry you would need a lot more than only the glassware. Things that this set are missing:

cork rings for the round bottom flasks
glass stoppers (small)
helix clamps
something where you can fasten your equipment on
100/50ml little round bottom flasks
dropping funnel
thermometer
magnetic stirrer and extras
oil bath

Yeah I kind of figured that having multiple coolers would be a bit of a waste, but does the overall price outweigh that fact? Also the separating funnel and Erlenmeyer flasks are in the odds and ends I mentioned.
