I had a hard time figuring out where to put this, but I desperately had to share it. I suppose "science" fits it the best, because this perspective on humanity is a product of science. He says nothing new, as the themes spoken have been around for ages. Yet, from the perspective allowed, I can think of no better way to underscore to the ideas presented. As we learn more about the cosmos, we learn more about ourselves.

It's been a long time since I've heard this piece and I just wanted to say thanks for sharing Peabody. I've always been fond of Sagan and this narration really flips things into perspective in terms of macro vs micro. Bravo, and thanks for sharing.

Carl Sagan's wise words have been some of the most influential on me in my adult life. He always had such a way of making the seemingly simple seem to profound, and the seemingly out of grasp coherent and understandable.
