Opening some truffle jars for the weekend hehehe

Migrated topic.
I highly recommended that all of you start growing truffles :) . Its perfect for busy people that have family's. It's also great for people with nosy landlords. Once you get your truffles you can use the grain to grow mushrooms :).. I'm about to open these jars and there's more truffles in there than I know what to do with  ...

How do u do this? ;)

This is what I usually do :) . I use half water and half coffee. They use ryegrass seed in Amsterdam and believe me it gets the job done. I like to wait 5 month's before I open the jars.

So you just inoculate with spores of choice and leave the jars alone?

...

And eventually the mycilia just... truffles?

Superb, I have had way better success on straight brown rice than both rye berries and WBS. They colonize and fruit stones in about 10x the speed. In fact many people say for cubensis even that straight brown rice is much faster than grain.

There's a reason why nearly every member on shroomery uses grain. Its better..
Truffles are supposed to take time to grow. If you want something fast grow mushrooms.
