Nice to hear everybody seems to be having good results with shorter durations of heating :thumb_up:

My concoction has been on low heat (barely simmering) for around 10 hours now. I'm going to give it 2 more hours just for the hell of it and then put it in the fridge.


I might try coconut oil or vegetable oil next time around, thanks for sharing your personal methods :)




This is exactly what seems so confusing to me. If it is indeed dissolved into the fat so quickly (which certainly seems to be the case), why do so many people seem so adamant about incredibly long cook times?


Guess I'll have to look for some hard research on this topic, I'm sure it's out there somewhere :)
