P. Tampanensis

Haven't grown them personally but the big difference is you aren't growing them quickly for fruits, you are triggering their long term storage adaptations to harvest the mushroom equivalent of a potato.
I don't know about relative yields but the timeline for these is drastically longer (3 to 6 months) compared to the 1 to 2 months of traditional mushroom cultivation
Also, for scaling with this species you aren't able to take a few grain jars and make multiple coir/castings flats. You have to do sterile grain transfers prior to them potatoing. Some people have fancy equipment but when you work with just a shmuvbox, minimizing the sterile work is your biggest efficiency gain.
Seems like it would be a fun challenge but I have plenty of those already to be interested in trying this one out.

Think I'ma try to fruit a jar and get one to produce stones... Any advice would be appreciated!

These are more potent or less potent than cubes? Getting conflicting info...

From what I can gather the fruits r more potent and the stones less... Wanna try to fruit some...

ummmm ... the strength for fresh or dried cubes is 10 x as much for fresh to dry ,

with stones its a bit diffrent between fresh n dried it seems .
humm we could look it up . least to say .

it seems from what i read... fresh stones ...are stronger in comparison to dry , in comparison to cubes ...as i read and a friends exspirance .
. so a friend used the 10 x cube rule on fresh to dry conversion for stones ..... any way he wanted to take the equivilent 10 grams dried cubes in his fresh stones .

He accidently ended up taking a really huge dose of frash stones 90 grams of fresh ,, or close to that of .....like way way stronger than he intended , and he says he will never trip again he was really upset

. so be care full because as you say theres conflicting opinions on the NET

your info says fresh stones are weaker but mine says there stronger ... so i guess we should try and get a better opinion from a trusted source , a psyconaught mycoligist Perhaps ?
.

i hope this sorta made sence if not i'm sorry

be careful good luck

Hopefully i can verify soon. Have Atl7 and pearly gates waiting to grab grain. My location seems perfect for this strain so i think i will attempt outdoor cultivation when possible.
