thanks for the kind words. that vid took a tremendous effort, and is the first one i ever shot and edited myself:d
I feel we need to be careful with the concept of Bio fuels because something that uses two dollars of fertilizer and one dollar to process to create 1 dollars worth of bio fuel is not efficient nor is it a bargain.
i agree, but where is this idea coming from??
It was my generalized unofficial view point and may be exaggerated to prove my point.
If we take ethanol as a example, yes its produced from corn and added to gasoline as a additive. Sounds great but it is to corrosive to be transported by pipelines as it eats the pipes and must be transported by Tanker Truck to gasoline formulation plants.
So large amounts of ethanol are being transported by trucks that Run on Gasoline.
The extend of this I do not know nor have I researched the stats.
Since some farmers may switch from growing corn to feed there cattle to growing corn to make ethanol this increase the price of corn by simple supply and demand.
And since corn is more expensive so are products that require corn to manufacture things like the Beef we all or most eat.
Pop corn at the movies ect. I am not saying this is what is happening now but I am saying we need to keep a eye on things and use common sense before we get burned by a wolf in sheep's clothing who wants to make a buck.
I did not pay much attention to you first post I watched vid and just now realized you made the vid yourself, nice job and sorry about the Willie Nelson ref.
Peace
