Pedicularis and Cannabis?

Migrated topic.

Everybody knows that Pedicularis is "semi-parasitic", some say it may actually pick up toxins from poisounous plants, so you have to be careful when collecting it.

What if you grew Pedicularis around Cannabis plants? And allowed the Pedicularis to feed off the Cannabis's plants roots?

Then both buds could be harvested and mixed.

I would use Pedicularis densiflora and Pedicularis groenlandica planted around Cannabis sativa (high THC producing) plants.

Does anybody know of any vendors that sell Pedicularis seeds? Anybody have any Pedicularis seeds for trade?

How would you germanitate Pedicularis seeds? How do you cultivate Pedicularis?

i have been wanting to grow this plant as well for a while now, I have no experience with it, i jsut know that many ppl use it in their smoking blends..

Not sure but what I think you are implying is that it would feed off the cannabinoids from the cannabis plant, and then in turn, end up with some cannabinoids in its own buds?? I guess its possible but i think you would have to look into the metabolic pathways of the pedicularis and find out what the possible end products of the cannabinoids would be...gets me thinking though..very creative idea coatl!

Cannabis and Pedicularis is my favorite smoke yes.

Yup that's exactly what I'd like to do... may increase your total THC bud yeild.

SWIM had once obtained a very small amount of tropacocaine from a datura species, with its high yield in anandamine, combined cannabis in a teabag and had a very hearty/lengthy feel. One can only dream of an herbalsmoke mix.

Would sense good vibes in a very crazy lookin' garden... Gonna throw Sierra Seed Supply out there.

You could try dried buddings&foliage.. but,meh

Thanks for that Coz. I'm going to try growing it myself and seed how it goes...

Cannabinoids need to be put into plant trichomes otherwise they will kill plant cells. If pedicularis does not contain trichomes nothign will probably happen, not to mention the water solubility of cannabinoids is very low and will thus seriously impinge on their ability to be moved around especially from plant to plant.

Not to mention that the most closely related plant to cannabis is hops and it contains zero cannabinoids, cannabis is the only known plant in the entire world to contain cannabinoids making it very unique and special in that regard.
