PerPLexED

Rising Star
I have a friend that is in search for...everything. He desires to know as much as possible, to learn as much as possible, to grow, to find the fruit of knowledge and gobble up the whole tree.He is always confused. He sees beauty in flaws, and believes he must do what he can to save the world. Many places on this planet are infested with jealousy, greed, amongst other dirty things. He has grown up being confused of what is right/wrong as either way he would be punished. He wants the world to open their eyes and see that the only thing they gotta do to get understanding from others, appreciation from others, love from others, is to start doing so themselves. He cleverly came up with the quote "Change starts with I, and I start now." And so, he has begun his rampage to make other's smile and grow their mind instead of suppressing it to the point of simple function capabilities onry. He has done a bit of traveling, and finds that the lessons he learns on his trips are very valuable. He avoids polluting his body with temporary feel-goods, such as sex, coke, heroin, ecstasy, etc. etc. However, if in the right setting, these are not horrid temporary feel goods, but ultimate growth. He has not yet found a companion who will stick around and adventure the entirities of the spectrums of spectrums, and it hinders his growth. He likes to hang out with Mary Jane every here and there, as it has allowed a wide growth in perception. He has grown shiitakis on his own, and shared these wonderful mushrooms with friends and he learned a lot about the way this world is run. He has some experience with salvia, but has yet to fallen completely under its grasp to learn all it has to teach. He now seeks for the spice, however, he is awaiting to find a companion to dive into these new waters.
PerPLexED enjoys meditation and kabbalah. He has yet been able to find proof of validity or invalidity on kabbalah, however, he reports that somethings are still hitting him the experience was so powerful. He plans on going to Israel to study this more and plans on sharing his knowledge with anyone with the right intentions who seek it.
He also informed me that he cannot explain his gratitude, as words are a very weak way of expresing yourself, so he will give you his utmost attention if you so choose to PM him.

Hey :)

I can very much related with the initial insatisfaction on world's problems and negative expressions in people, and then the realization that change starts within.. It seems a lot of our stories here in this forum reflect each other.

Growing shiitake heh? How is that done, if I may ask? I find them delicious!

As for kabbalah, like all 'counter-cultures' or esoteric branches of major religions, it seems very very interesting (and just like in general with esoterism, one must be careful avoiding charlatanism and self-delusion). I personally have been more attracted to Sufism, but would love to hear from a fellow explorer how you feel kabbalah connects to the whole idea of hyperspace, psychedelics and your general world view :)

As for ACTUAL shiitakis, i haven't been able to find spores for those. PerPLExed has found MANY spores for the magical kind though. PLanning on growing shiitakis so that azurescens strand will be more useful than just sitting there ^^ It's pretty simple, if you check out shroomery forums, they have gotten so big that you literally search anything, and find it. There's some pretty simple teks that I wouldn't mind walking you through.
I have yet to really search into many other religions/beliefs but am more than interested in hearing about them all. First off, I don't block out anything(for the very thing I may be blocking out may be the very thing I am searching for), so kill the ego! I have found(through my minimal studies) that Kabbalah is more than powerful. The merkava(highest level of conscioussness) is one of my goals, despite it being said you need to be 40+ to even study it with a wide history in torah/talmud/zohar and even if you do get to the merkava(which many have studied for years and haven't even tried), 1/1000 you'll make it out safely. The major reason i like it so much, is that it is AGAINST self delusion among other things...atleast that's what i get from it. That you don't just jump into it and accept it, no. You have to challenge its every word, even challenging that very statement. And so far, it's been proving to be more than incredible. The main thing is, given the situation that its a hoax, i have seen things with my eyes instigated through kabbalah that the only way to really believe it, is to see it. And even then, accepting it is difficult it is so incredible. I feel like sciences are finding scientific results for what is said in the kabbalah. We control the world, but when you get to higher levels of consciousness, you control much much more of it.

Nice post :)
I'm not familiar with kabbalah, but i'll check it out. I'm very interested in meditation and mysticism to, and i've been influenced by "The Book of Secrets" written by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesj (Osho). It talks about 112 meditation techniques based on ancient Indien writings...
Peace
