Peyote Grafting Competition!!

I was thinking, and I realized a grafting competition would be awesome.

It would be a competition where we start our yotes from seed, then graft them. Whoever get's theirs to flower first wins the competition. Or it could be whoever gets it the biggest.

Any thoughts? And who would join me in this venture?
 
😁 sounds epic. I'm totally in. I need seeds though, if someone has extra (U.S.A) or knows a U.S based site, Id be happy to get in on this.

(I know MHRB sourcing is against the rules, hopefully peyote seed sourcing isnt :lol: )

The competition would probably be like 7-12 months. And thanks for the link. That's actually where I got inspiration to see if the Nexus members would like to try this.

I would probably loose since I'm just starting out with all of this, but I think that it would be cool. I'd like to get at least 10 people in on this.

This will be more for fun. Not for deciding who the "best" grower is. The only prize would be bragging rights. :D

Let's see if we can get more people in on it. I'll start to think of ways to organize it!

even if you don't still join that site - it is awesome :d (well at least once you are a full member it is)

also, all of my peres are back in the subarctic, so i may be off to a slow start, but i will join you in your competition.
 
So, when do we start the big competition?

I would suggest that we announce the start at least 1 month (2 months would be better, I think) beforehand, so that everybody can get their Peyote seeds from a reliable vendor (including me 😉 )

You know there is summer right now: lots of people on vacation, + it might take some time to deliver the order into your mailbox etc... 😉

i think this sounds like a good idea.
get everyone a chance to get an even start.
