pH meter pen??

CokFLHX

Esteemed member
I’m almost out of litmus strips to measure pH. Before I order more, I wanted to see if anyone used the pH meter pens that have an electrode you dip.

On these work well? I would think a digital reading would be more accurate than comparing the color of a strip to a chart. Especially since the solution I’m measuring is the same color as the strip indication.

Just wanted to see if anyone had any insight on this.

Thanks.

Your mileage may vary with cheap pH pens.
I've gone through several various cheap ones, during my weed growing period (hydroponics, so I needed to use them several times per week) and tbh, I won't buy cheap ones if I need one in future.
They need frequent calibration and go bad after some time, almost with no exception.
At least that was my experience.

Mulwaukee, Bluelab - they might cost 5-10x times more but save you money in the long run.
