pH paper OTC

Where would be the best place to find pH paper over the counter? Not online?

I already ordered MHRB from ebay/internet and don't want to have pH paper connect to that.

I'm googling like mad right now, if I find I will edit.

I need pH paper capable of determining pH 12+, for STB using NaOH and naphthta.

edit- I just called a hardware store, they said they had papers that could test pH 1 - 14, but described it as "holding it in your pool for about 5 minutes." Is this kind of strip going to be accurate enough? Like will it actually be able to detect 1-14? What do you all think.

i wouldnt bother with ph papers since the base solution is black. you can get a digital ph meter for about 50 bucks at your local hydroponic store

you are correct sir, but doesnt the bark change the ph level somewhat?

Ya it should because the bark will contain DMT tannin, a salt and acidic. It probally won't do a whole lot, but hey why not play it safe?

Admins, can this be moved into the DMT extraction NOOB forum?

SWIM's FOAF prefers it and it's much more fun, even though he has access to the best state-of-the-art ph meters. It gives you the special opportunity of making more extraction (well... from cabbage)
