Tryptamines, to me, are fascinating. Serotonin is a beautiful molecule worthy of so much respect. It seems to favor those who tend towards meditation and contemplation. Amines are so simple, yet they have provided a fascination commensurate to the whole of human creativity. Analogues of these chemicals, however go even deeper than the Serotonin human beings use as a neurotransmitter. These compounds are formed in species that one might speculate have been producing protective alkaloids longer than human brains have had such complex nervous systems.
The reason im joining the Nexus is because I intend to perform experiments related to growing phalaris, and find techniques that can help minimize the inherent dangers of having such a beautiful and vigorous plant around. Surely, if interest in phalaris grass plant ever escalates some very wonderful new strains could occur.
In my dreams i've imagined a blue grass that is nearly a tenth or possibly a twentieth its weight in some type of molecule that looks like the heart of the sun, and this grass is available everywhere and just the massive presence of non-toxic alkaloids being so abundant in a single field, just by radiation causes in a shift in the way one perceives time.
I'm hoping this community will be welcoming enough and that I have portrayed my genuine considerations regarding the subject of fascination within this community.
