Hi all,

So I'm gonna venture into my first pharmauscha experience this weekend. Just wanted some of your guys thoughts on the method I am going with...

I will be brewing up yellow Caapi (50 - 75 grams) in 3 boils for 2hrs each, than at the end reducing down to an egg cup (so like a traditional aya but without the dimitri)..

Once that is done and my Caapi is ready I will drink that than either directly after or 20 minutes after will take 0.75g of full spectrum dimitri.

I have no chacruna at the moment, and I dont really fancy using mimosa for this..

Does the method I am using sound ok ?

Blessings

Why not use mimosa? Isn't that where you got your jimjam?

But your method is OK, I would do 3x3 on the boils though.

cheers mate, Reason I am not using the mimosa is because I find it quite hard on my stomach, and the sediment really makes me gag whilst drinking. I suppose if I make quite a thick , and reduced quite a bit it wouldn't be so bad in 1 quick gulp. The thing with that is, I'm gonna be doing this all outdoors including the boil, so don't want to have to cater to to pots m and really focus my attention on the 1 pop with the Caapi. As I said if i had chacruna, I'd be using that!

Thanks

Fair enough. I like outdoor brewing idea, I will have to try it.

You need to filter your mimosa and get rid of as much sediment as possible, its nasty stuff not like the caapi sediment.

I would suggest having some back up jimjam just incase you need it.

Enjoy

if you do a fining with egg white on your mimosa post-filtering but pre-reducing, it shouldn't be nearly as rough on your stomach (you can also do this with caapi).

or you can consider doing a CWE, and drinking that as you would a brew (only you can't reduce them, so be conservative on the amount of water you use)

fininf with egg white? someone mentioned that to me not long ago but slipped my mind. how do you fine with egg white?

Also by CWE im assuming that mean cold water extraction? how do you go about that? any teks about?

cheers
