Namaste folks. I dont want to reveal yet why I am asking you to do this because I didnt know what to expect when I did it.

Please watch the movie Amelie, and somewhere near the middle, while watching it, smoke a small amount of changa and tell me if anything unusual happens. It may help to watch with a friend (I did), but the friend doesn't need to smoke changa.

I would try it, but I don't smoke changa while watching movies. I do love to listen to comedy while doing pharma, though. Bill Hicks, Joe Rogan, David Cross and Louis C.K. intermingled with music makes for an awesome time. Bill Hicks was a genius.

I do like Amelie, though. I've seen it about four or five times, so in my imagination I can sort of construct a changa ride during the middle, though I'm sure it pales to whatever unusual ride you took.

You said "smoke a small amount of changa" . . . I can't do that, either. I take a small hit to test the waters, lie down, then decide whether or not to keep going. I always keep going. And I smoke a retarded amount all throughout the night . . . Just how I roll . . .

***** Actually, I DID take a small hit of freebase once while watching Star Wars, but I didn't like it, shut the movie off, and went to my room for a Maxx-style session. *****

I had a very weird experiences smoking Changa with the Movie Fifth Element playing in the background.

I was watching TV in bed with my husband and decided to take a couple small tokes of
Changa. It felt right to keep going, Then I realized I was going in deeper. I asked him to turn the TV off but he was asleep and I couldn't be bothered to get up and change it.

As I was becoming immersed in hyperspace the part of the movie was playing where they were building The perfect being, the Fifth Element "LeeLoo". I could not remember I had smoked Changa and was completely immersed in the dialog from the movie, thinking it was happening to me.

This was the night of the 30th birthday. Not the rebirth experiences I was expecting..
It was very interesting to say the least. From then on, No TV during changa 😉

one of my very favorite DMT experiences... a group of us had just taken in Episode 1 in 3D at the theatre on a couple hits each of what's passing for white fluff these days (& just barely passing, i might add)... bad time, not because of the drugs, but because of a shitty screen & out-of-focus projector... so we went home, i rolled a couple joints with a quarter gram of molecule in each one (yes, i tend to over-do things) & set into Episode 1 again, this time at home... Chinky flipped between epic scenes for us, & we all toked at our favorite parts... The Battle for Naboo, jesus... i'll never think of Jar-Jar Binks the same again... the Yoda/Palpatine battle was rather amazing too... not a spiritual experience at all, by traditional definitions, but man, we had a good time... we've gone our separate ways since, but the 5 of us that were there that night, we formed a bond that just amazes me, & we did it by using DMT in a non-spiritual, recreational type setting...

as for the OP, sure... i know not of this movie of which you speak, but i'll try anything once, twice if i like it...

:d

It took me a while until I got it!

LOL!

"Anything unusual" while on DMT? Something very very unusual happens everytime I smoke...

I want to hear what happens to you before I tell you what happened to me. Maybe even this building up of it is taking away from the spontaneity that allowed for my experience...

Something about that movie put me into a very meditative and receptive state of mind. I expected nothing but a light changa buzz... But what I got changed my life forever.

I have always preferred no sensory stimulation as well. It was quite a shock to find that the most profound experience required the right sensory stimulation. But surely other factors were at play that I know nothing of.

When I get home from New York I'll try it out just caus I want to hear what happened to you. By small amount you mean like 30 or 40 mg changa?

Not sure what dose to give you, but I will say that I just took one puff of a small amount and held it in while watching the movie halfway thru. I felt the dose I took would be enough to give a nice glow but not so intense as to make it impossible to watch the movie. Ie no hallucinations.

I should also mention that I had incredible ayahuasca trips in the months leading up, the kind where you are everywhere, know everything, and see everything, with infinite love and hours of afterglow in incapacitation due to sheer ecstasy. Yet those experiences never seemed to offer any hint of intermediate potential in life -- no way of living in the world in a perfected state while being functional.

That background is probably more important than the movie, but who knows.
