I've been interested in psychedelics for quite a while, yet only fairly recently have started to commit serious time, effort and energy into the subject.

I'm a massive fan of Terrence McKenna (aren't we all ~!?) and it is through listening to him and other guests on the wonderful 'Psychedelic Salon' podcast that has spiked my interest of late and which has led me to here.

I'm planning on an ayahuasca trip next summer, so my main reason for using this site is to obtain some good information on where to go and what to expect and then also share some of my own personal experiences.

welcome! if you're into McKenna you should check out Alan Watts too. he has written plenty of literature and given speeches all over the world. although he talks less about psychedelics, he is very insightful when it comes to incorporating eastern philosophy into the western mindset

is there any specific reason you're going to try aya?
have you ever smoked spice before?

Hi, thanks for the msg...

...yeah, I've come across Alan Watts and he's another great thinker and orator - however I just can't get enough McKenna, most of the time I have no idea what he is talking about, but just listening to his voice is almost hypnotic - a truly gifted speaker and intellectual.

I'm yet to try spice, would hope to do so at some point - I live in a country where there is almost zero psychedelic activity or community that I know of (South Korea)...I do have some experience w other substances though (salvia, mushrooms)...and no, no specific reason for wanting to try aya, but it's something that holds a fascination with me, so - why not?^^
