Possible delosperma species

Hi everyone,

I am trying to obtain the identity of the plant pictured below. It similar to delosperma species, though I am not sure whether it is or not.

posting your general location would help narrow it down..

but seeing the rounded leaves, and the red/yellow flowers with pink/purple on the underside of the flower, i would guess its Malephora crocea v. purpureo crocea (aka orange ice plant) but i am far from sure on that. i really only guess it because it is the most common orange-flowering ice plant.
 
Oh, sorry, thought I added location. I'm in far west NSW, fairly remote and arid area. It grows everywhere around here.
 
Not a Delosperma:
Note that Delosperma seed capsules generally have 5 chambers, these have 10 or so.
