Well it says to introduce ur self and some info so here goes,
I'm me and I was propelled into the outer realms and innerself earlier this yr by a old friend (over 20 yrs we not seen or spoke) I have partaken In a number of substances over the years and continue to do so and in doing what I love the most I had a thought about the teks on mrhb extraction which I have yet to try myself but will as soon as I can find If and where mrhb is legal here in germany???? or a way to have it posted without compromising myself.

Here's what happened
I love growing now I grow so much that I play with it give it away and try all methods of harvesting thc that are bought to my attention butter,tincture and oil, being an oldskool type the oil was always made evaping naphta only this yr was I shown the honey butane extractor and last night I was very busy with a big bowl of naphta and another full of butane both evaping cannabis oil. I'm no tekkie so here is my question feel free to laugh

Would it be possible has it been tried to extract stb nn-dmt mrhb using hbo tek?????
That's a real stb 200gms in a tube squirt full of butane evap finished

I am no chemist either, but a soak in butane would not technically be an STB (Straight to Base) tek, since there is no basification step.

N,N-DMT is found in plant materials like the root bark in weak acid salts, like DMT tannate. In order to make that soluble in non polar solvents, you need a chemical reaction producing DMT freebase, which then can be pulled using the appropriate solvent. So I'm afraid that wouldn't work.

Hi vodsel thanks for the input----please don't think I'm being rude with my reply but this is really tickling my brain I do wish I studied harder at school these days:?

I fully got the where dmt is located and the variations of it from roots leaves grasses barks etc and that the levels are varied

I saw a simple dmt tek. (Stb?) with mhrb using water and naphta left to soak, lightlly turned then the naphta pulled off and once evaped the crystals smoked

Which for many years was the same process as making cannabis oil until this honey extractor came

Butane is a non polar solvent which pulls a lot cleaner than naphta, even the use of butane as a final clean for the not so white nn dmt???
can the dmt freebase be allowed to dry??

All of the teks for dmt are based on the trusty old shamens knowledge of a plant or two.
Shared knowledge is great and I love to play two weeks ago I grafted 2 different peyote varietys on to a san pedro and the next project is breeding my own femminised cannabis variety both long term projects due to the growth rate of peyote and the back crossing forced flowering etc etc with the other for sure when I get some mhrb I will be playing some more. the sharing is caring

You're missing the base in your plan.. For DMT to be soluble in solvents such as naphtha, you need to first add a base to your plant material to get the pH up, which will turn DMT into freebase form and will make it soluble in that solvent. In your plan, with the plant material as-is, the DMT will probably not be soluble in butane, unlike THC in weed.

Maybe if you'd mix mimosa with sodium carbonate or calcium hydroxide and water, and let it dry, you could extract DMT with butane. Im not sure how well it would work in practice, though, sounds messy.. Try with a small amount first if so.
