Post-harmala tolerance to DMT

I think that answer is no, at least for most people, but I'm curious if there is anyone else that this happens too.
I'm interested neurologically mostly.

With complete reliability a few hours after doing harmalas, whether I take more harmalas or not, when I smoke DMT I get 1/3 or less the effects and this last several hours I don't know the exact length but it is less than 24 hours until I can get the effects again.

When I smoke or sublingually take the harmalas then I get potentiation and all the good harmalas do when mixed with DMT but I am limited to once a day which is odd. I have accepted that the benefits of the harmalas outweigh the once-a-day issue but still I'm curious.

Anyone else get this, or anything close? When I take harmalas orally then I get potentiation up to 7 or 8 hours later, unsure about tolerance after that though.

I've noticed this too, that the first two or three blast offs are noticeably stronger than the following ones... I wonder why is this with the harmalas.

It has been my experience that the visual aspects of dmt is most pronounced in the first hour after oral ingestion. Then it feels like a blanket is pulled over the visual part of the experience. If I take dmt again an hour into it, it only strengthens the bodily experience. The visuals are mostly non existent. If I do harmalas and dmt again after about 6 hours, the experience is stronger and more visual, but the visuals will go away after about an hour.

In my personal experience, it feels like my body is not ready, or open enough, so it falls back into the body, unable to process any more visual information.

Again, this is only my experience, I have not heard of others with similar issues.

This is pretty much the same thing that happens to me. When I do sublingual caapi + dmt sessions, after about one hour, during the 3rd-5th blast off(I like to blast off several times sometimes) the visuals are almost non existent, even at high doses.
Without sublingual harmalas I don't have this loss of visual aspect in the blastoffs.
Anyone else with these kind of effects?

yup, while having not dosed only harmala and done dmt sessions. i have dosed harmala, lsd, and then dmt a few hours later at or around the peak. it's grrrreat then but yeah, it's all down hill from there until, say, the next day. a few hours after harmala i get nothing from dmt. what is with this?
