Hey dude :d  I think it is definitely something worth experiencing a few times so you can compare experiences...it's hard to put into words...but I find a fresh mushroom trip to be more saturated with "life" in some way, with the experience having an extra liquid sparkle. I know that's pretty vague, but it's hard to describe in words, quite a tangible and consistent character of the experience though, for me anyway. A fresh liberty cap experience sounds like an excellent way to go...our native psilocybe, abundant when and where they occur, nice and potent, and one of the mildest flavoured psilocybe mushrooms I've encountered.
