q21q21 Tek 2 Question

Hey all,

Got my MHRB in today and am looking forward to my first extraction. I've read over various Tek's and it seems like q21q21's tek 2 seems reliable and doable for a first timer. It all seems fairly straightforward and I think I'll be able to handle it, but I wanted to ask a few quick things just to make sure I don't ruin my products.

When it states to make multiple pulls, specifically the option wherein it has one do another pull whilst the first is already in the freezer...Does this mean that I immediately do another pull and just add it to the same container that is already freezing, or to put this other pull in a separate container? I realize this might be a dumb question but I reread the writeup multiple times and was still confused.

Also, how should I store the solution between long-term (day+ later) pulls?

I just do 3-4 pulls and put in freezer together in one container. Then will cover and set aside for a week or two in a cool place and do a final pull to see if any left. with this Tek I find never really much left unless large quantity of bark used.

All pulls at start are one after another as soon as decant natpha just pull next lot in.

Interesting, next time I try it this way

The way I have done is to do one pull then put it in freezer get the spice out and reuse naphtha for another pull. I have repeated this for times. I also used some new naphtha of course cos you never recover all of it. Its good to do it this way if you want to save money on naphtha.

i find both options work for pulling ive done several q21q21 tek 2's now, my first and only tek, ive gotten similar yields both ways by doing 3-4 pulls at once, gotten 1200mgs like this in one crystallization tray, then another 200mg by doing another pull a moon later. kept that one in a separate dish.

also i do the latter technique with waiting for one pull then reusing my solvent and adding a splash of new.

heres my question now, i did a pull on my old plant matter from a previous batch (about a week old) and the yield was very aromatic spice, off white. the triptamine smell filled the room i store my spice in. ive bioessyed it both freebase and changa. both were normal experiences. but why the ultra potent triptamine odor. im not complaining tho nothing like walking into my lab/journey cave to the strong scent of spice
