Question about effective amounts of MAOI

I'll preface this by saying that my phone makes navigating the net tediously slow and so I havent done as much research as I would if I had a PC, but I have read the stickies and several threads and havent really got a feel for what the consensus is on this.

So, I am about to have a go at making some changa and one of the main benefits I want from it is being able to effectively re-dose without the wildly diminishing effects that are experienced when this is attempted with FB. I have seen people say that for this all that is really needed is plain caapi leaf infused with spice, but I have seen others say that this, when smoked, does not deliver enough of the goodies from the caapi and that 10x caapi is required.

So whats the deal?

If it is the case that 10x is needed then what is the easiest/quickest way of achieving this? I have seen a tek for making 10x leaf, but I'd rather avoid that if possible (on this occasion).

I have also seen that 10x caapi "extract" is available from online but am not aware how to incorporate this into a changa mix. If this route is taken would it mean that caapi leaf would not be needed in the mix? For example a changa consisting of simply spice, caapi extract from online and mullein?

Thanks in advance! Any other relevant advice appreciated too :)

Boil 10g caapi leaves down, filter, evap onto 1g caapi leaves. Bam. 10x extract made.

You can use this, or just equal parts caapi leaves. They both work great. The 10x is just stronger.

You are right to assume that w/ an extract you dont need caapi leaves. Any herb works.

I've also used alcohol to make caapi extract that I put back on caapi leaf.
i have also used caapi stem to make extract that I put on other leaf... or in one case in some yopo.

With regular leaf you need a couple of grams, with stronger leaf you could make do with much less.

Thanks people :)

House I'm gonna go with your suggestion, with regard to boiling caapi what is a good starting amount of water and is it ok to have it on full boil or are the goodies sensitive to excess heat?
