Question about MAOI safety

If someone has taken their prescription amphetamine IR tabs around 4-8 hours before they wanted to dose some aya (ACRB and rue) would it be safe to do so? They are aware that taking phenylethylamines and other certain drugs/foods while already on an MAOI is a big no-no but searching around for a bit they haven't been able to find a definitive answer about MAOIs after taking amphetamine. Does the MAOI only cause these issues if taken before or can it cause a hypertensive crisis if taken before the amphetamine is cleared?

He would just like to be 100% sure rather than risk a crisis due to his own ignorance and idiocy.

i would say its not safe

The half life of amphetamines is long although i don't know what kind he is on.

D-amph:9–11h; L-amph:11–14h

Generic IR mixed amphetamine salts and I thought that was probably the case. I really appreciate the confirmation, even if the answer is that it is unsafe.

Always better safe than sorry though, nobody wants to literally trip to death.
