Question about preparing 10x caapi

I'm evaporating about 350ml of ISO, the bowl I'm evapin in has large thick green resin lines as the levels get lower. Do I just let the levels go down til I need to add my 2.8g of caapi leaf...or, do I need to jar and evap a little at a time in a smaller bowl with leaf in it?

Whats the SOP here? This is the step I couldn't quite picture in my head either. I get the 'idea' behind evaporating onto a material, but I'm used to big flat pans, and I dont have enough caapi leaf for that, so, do I just scrape up the gunk, and add it to the ISO when it's almost evaped?

Ok, I got it.

I put the leaf in after reading your post, and after another hour of slow evapping I took the hair dryer to it, on warm not hot and low not high. After 45 minutes of waving the stuff around blowing back and forth it reduced, I scraped the sides a bit, flaked it off in the leaf, stirred it up, and used blow dryer until there were no ripples of alcohol under the leaf. Now its air drying and looks alright, but a bit heavy looking. I can't wait to add some spice to this.

Oh, well, I didn't know that. I started with an oz of material. After 2 weeks it hadn't gotten that red tinge in the sun I've seen mention of. Today was 3 weeks and I was going to evap regardless, it was nicely dragon blood red in the sun, so cool and lightly glittering.

So I evapped onto 2.4g of leaf for a 11x. If ISO sucks for pulling, do you think I should cover the material I have (haven't weighed, looks like more than 3g?) and evap onto just 2 grams? Then maybe go 30-50-20 caapi, spice, herb of choice?
