racetams

Migrated topic.

concombres

Rising Star
I've looked a bit into the racetams & decided to give them a try.
The effects from what i've read seem to be hit or miss, some individuals getting good results, others nothing.
If these substances can deliver what they are designed to do, they could prove to be of an extreme benefit to me.

i've decided to start with anirecetam because i'm very prone to anxiety & it supposedly has the benefits of piracetam with added anxiolytic effect. As of now it is unregulated in the u.s. & i've got a 25g sample.

As always with a new substance, doses will start small & titrated.

It looks to have been quite a while since anyone has posted in this subforum but i'm hoping to hear from others who have used racetams & aniracetam in general.

I'd like to get an idea of the range of effects it has on different individuals & if they saw a benefit. The nexus seems much more relaiable as well as having a higher quality to the information presented (i also trust the community here very much more being a part of it) than other forums & random google searches which may or may not be vendors promoting their products, which is why i chose to inquire here.

I didn't get too much from aniracetam, apart from flunking an interview. I felt positive but empty...?

I took choline as well, which seems to be recommended alongside.

Now I just take lecithin daily, in my oatmeal. I notice if I miss it.

did you try eating something high in fat with the dose & how long did you take it for?

I'm going to try 750mg 3x daily with a meal high in fat directly before or mixed in with the anirecetam since it's fat soluble. 25g should be enough that if it does need to be built up to notice effects, i'll know by the time i run out. Hopefully i'm not one who sees no effect :)

I'll look into lecithin more though, i'm looking to replace caffiene with something less stimulating, non-addictive, & more beneficial.

Most days I will take 360mg of piracetam in the morning with 300mg of A-GPC , it helps me think quicker and clearer , l helps me focus and also learn quicker, deal with tense stressful situations better and lowers my anxiety almost to nothing and also lifts my mood.
It also protects against the burn-out effects that stress has, previous to taking piracetam if I were to have a stressfull day I would go home feeling wiped out and want nothing to do with anything other than smoking a joint and lying in the dark.
Ive read anirecetam acts directly on the serotonin and dopamine system too whereas piracetam doesnt, not directly anyway.
It could be a good one for social anxiety disorder.
