Ratio question

yam

Rising Star
Hi,

Im making a batch with Caapi and Chakruna. I made the batch with the 1:1 ratio. After trying it the presence, insights is very clear but not quite as visionary. No clear way of "stepping in" into the experience and enter the visionary realms. The next batch im now wondering wheather to add more caapi, to access the dmt of the leaves better or add the chakruna leaves. What is your reflections on this?

Im grateful to recieve support.

Thank you

Aya is far more than just a caapi-to-chacruna ratio. You need to know your plants and adjust accordingly.
I'd always advise a caapi dominant brew. In ayahuasca medicine, caapi is the teacher and the force behind the experience. Chacruna is the light that illuminates it.
All the shamanic and healing work goes through caapi. If you're unsure, just cook them separately and experiment to get where you want.

Thats why I was asking. If I just look at a logic ratio question i would just add caapi but I felt a strong presence of the caapi during the experience. Im holding retreats as a facilitatorer for years with teachings prior to the experience, but this batch i felt the distance of the leaves. So ,on a magical spiritual level i could not comprehend wheather just to add the leaves since they feel missing or if the caapi would invite the leaves in

If you're using dry material, chacruna on the market outside Peru is very weak. We had Hawaiian one a decade ago that was very active at 5-10g.
What they sell today is just subpar material, in my experience. I'd rather go for chaliponga when given a choice. Chaliponga is usually stronger and more potent, but it's a different beast altogether.

Good luck!

My most important thing is that im very connected with the leaves ,we work well together, im allowed to work as a teacher with it. So I would not like to change just to get a stronger effekt since that is not my purpose. Its to connect since we have a mission together. So ,I would like to continue with the leaves but just comprehend wheather to add the leaves of caapi for a little more visionary effect

I know, but good material seldom leaves Peru ;)
Just cook chacruna separately and see if you can boost your dose to a desired result. It may be that the leaf is too weak. This would be the easiest solution, in my opinion. If you've worked with chacruna, don't change to chali. Your connection to the plant spirit is more important.

Sure, that's why I wrote in my first reply to cook them separately and try it out. You can easily adjust your caapi and chacruna that way.
If you felt that the dose of caapi was sufficient, boosting chacruna could help. Otherwise, start from scratch and find your perfect recipe for your plants.
