Did a re x using 40ml naphtha. After it cooled to room temperature there was tons of what looked like salt at the bottom. I should've taken a picture, any idea what that is?

Without the details of the procedure it’s really difficult to say, my guess however would be that it’s Dmt crashing out at room temperature from an very saturated solution.

. I followed cybs max thoroughly but I think I didn't have enough liquid bc it the naptha wouldn't separate. Then I read add more lye solution making it 90g of lye solution to 100g mimosa. I think I'm going to just discard it and try again. The picture is after I took the re x naptha out which still produced some yield after freezing. Just curious about this yellow stuff that originally looked like salt then I scraped it together causing it to look like the picture.

Mimosa doesnt usually contain the extra fats of acacia. Did you try any of this? What brand of sodium hydroxide did you use?Appreciate it
I didn't want to throw it away so I evaporated again and it came out looking regular. I haven't tried it yet bc my method of smoking sucks
