re-x with heptane question

hello everyone

i recently read that heptane is best for a re-x of DMT. my plan was to do 1-2 re-x with naphatha, then finish it off with a re-x with heptane. i wanted to know, is it the same method of re-x with naph as it is for haptane. i mean, i would get the DMT powder, put it in a glass with so much warm solvent to dissolve the DMT, then put it in a dish, do a small pre-evap, then freeze it for a day. does his method apply to heptane as well? is there any differecnes?

my heptane source will be Bestine.

yes, then when pure enough you can re-x with haptane and then let evap very slowly to grow nice crystals

Heptane/Bestine is the best for that!, and the procedure is exactly the same. I actually start off with heptane from the beginning, I always in that way get cleaner results. IMO you can't beat a heptane wash...
