Recrystallization Question

Well I did a couple of freezer pulls and got very nice off white crystals which I'm planning on recrystallizing to get sparkly white. I added a large amount of naphtha to the jars and sucked it all back out and dry evaporated it in a dish. It dried out and is a super orange group of crystals. Should I mix these with the off white ones for my recrystallization or should I keep these seperated? I plan on making enhanced leaf with the final group of crystals also. Thanks.

Also : If I decided to keep them seperated, could I make enhanced leaf using both the orange crystals and the "bad" stuff from the off white crystals so I'd end up with 2 different types of enhanced leaf?

I'd keep them separate personally...

Maybe try 3 batches of enhanced leaf...

1: just white crystals
2: just orange crystals
3: mix of both

And then see which one you like better.

As far as the recrystallization goes, you'd be way better off recrystallizing in heptane aka Bestine. I'm not sure if your orange spice would dissolve in it, but your white spice will make way prettier formations with the heptane.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I don't have very much unfortunately but I think I have enough for that. I only have naphtha and am not too concerned with formations since I'll just be dissolving it in leaf afterwards. Thanks.
