reddish-brown and sticky

Migrated topic.

Okay, so I've been up and down the forum, as well as a few others, and I can't seem to get a straight answer. Can anyone help? SWIM has seen and used yellowish granulated spice many times and likes it, however he just came across some reddish-brown (more brown) spice that is a bit sticky. Is this any good? He tried a bit of it, and it seemed to "feel" the same, however he did not try too much because he's a bit worried.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

It's impure. Whether it's impure-safe or impure-not, only the person who extracted it could tell you.

Given the kind of household chemicals used to extract DMT, I personally wouldn't ever smoke someone else's stash, because you don't know the purity of the ingredients they used. Same goes for any illegal substances. But I am a total health freak, and others may not be so particular!

Sounds like either impure or old spice. i've read a couple threads about people leaving there spice in a hot car and coming back to find an oil that was reddish when it re-solidified. dmt n-oxide is very reddish brown and although it isn't as potent...it is smooth and very visual. Some of the gunk left behind after re-crystalizing is red-brown and not active though..so who knows what you have there.

spice is just easy enough to be attempted by anybody. The end result can vary based on the time and patience that the extractor puts into it. Noone will be care more about what goes into your body than you. now that you know you like dmt...extract it yourself (if its legal to do so where you live) and be sure of what your vaporizing.

Sounds a lot to me like degraded spice, or Jungle Spice (which may well be some breakdown products of DMT).

But I wouldn't smoke something like that if I hadn't extracted it myself, unless I knew and trusted the extractor to be competent (and for that, I'd need to know his tek and see him in action).

Doesn't sound like degraded spice to me. It sounds like someone was sloppy extracting it, and either got some of the emulsions into the solvent when they were pulling, or they got impatient and tried to evaporate the solvent too quick with heat and fans. JMO.
