Hey community. Been a while since ive done anything like this with the san pedro, probably 10 years. I want to get my hands on some active cuttings somewhere and just do this simple ethanol extraction as im not really a chemist. I just get the dark green flesh just under the waxy skin I have been led to believe is the most alkaloid rich, food processor it. Soak it in a jar with Everclear, shaking every day for probably a couple weeks, maybe 3 or 4. I know mescaline is only somewhat soluble in ethanol which is the reason for the lengthy soak. Then i just strain and evaporate the alcohol and powder it up. Worked well back in the day when I did it like that.
One thing I was curious about, since the supplier I used to get my cuttings from is no longer in business or has changed their name. Was hoping someone with knowledge of such things could give me a little friendly direction and maybe steer me in the right direction as to finding the right cuttings for my little experience.
