Don't get me wrong, I'm all about science (former materials engineer now chemistry student), but there's something missing from their picture (maybe there's some stuff I still haven't read about yet). I think there IS some kind of energy we don't know about that connects molecules in ways we cant imagine, I like to call it consciousness energy. I'm pretty sure I saw it while in a forest tripping on 5 hits of high strength blotter. It what makes memories, or even that feeling you get like you knew someone from a past life or forever even though you just met them. Why do we get attached to certain objects? same energy. In some indigenous tribes they eat the flesh of their dead ancestors for various reasons, a lot of times it is for spiritual connection, sometimes it is to gain their wisdom/experience so it is not wasted. Sometimes tribes will eat the flesh of their dead enemies to gain their strength. A little sick for me, sure, but there are definitely some things science cant explain that native tribes have been explaining for thousands and thousands of years, just in a different way (spiritual drugs and enlightenment being a prime example).
