So swims friend has had mixed results when reusing his limonene and wonders if he is missing a vital step in the procedure.

For starters, how does one go about washing limonene?

Swims friend was trying to use his limonene again after already performing extractions with hcl and his yields were half of what should be expected. Is this because his limonene needs to be washed? Does the ph of limonene need to be at a certain point to pull freebase mesc?

yup, there is no other straightforward way to clean the limonene from the impurities

What about washing it with basic water and then using MgSO4 to bring the H2O content down?
