First and foremost, I want to congratulate the community for the incredible range and depth of information you have amassed. Verrry imprssive!
Also, many thanks to LazyMan, NoMan and to whomever posted the STB extraction pictorial Tek done with 1 lb. MHRB/1 lb. NAOH/one gallon milk bottle with the Sodium Carbonate wash/Epsom Salt dry as these have proven invaluable to me in my quest for spice. Outstanding results are clearly obtainable!!
I've been a regular nuisance (Rocketeerjim) at the Sally D grower's blog for well over a year now.
In my entheo growbox and elsewhere I have salutory specimins of White, Yellow and Black B. caapi, a (currently leafless) P. viridis, a very giving C. zacatechichi, a S. capensis and a very prolific HBWR plant. Oh, and two twenty-four inch Home Depot San Pedro Cacti. These are in addition to "a few" Sally D (Hoffman strain) clones of my late, beloved Sylvia that have yielded so very much potent goodness.
I first became aware of the entheogenic nature of these plants a year ago last May when, totally uninformed of what I was getting myself into, on a bare whim, I smoked a single hit of 20x Sally D and I launched into infinity before I even . . . well, truthfully, I cannot remember exhaling it.
I can think of no single, more significant, event in my life. It fundamentally changed my view of life and the great beyond.
Thus, I am now ravenously investigatng the rabbit-hole. That has had both positive (inner) and negative (mostly inter-personal) consequences. In short, I am very happy to have found THIS community of like-minded people because I now find myself surrounded by legions of uninitiates to whom over the last year or so I've become, shall we say, incomprehensible? Unfortunately, those ranks include everyone who was closest to me. Enlightenment carries with it a very hefty price.
On the other hand, a very few people I've met along the way on this new road I'm on have given me comfort and even cause for pause. . . . like the scarfaced, gang-banger ex-con (umm, to be clear, this is NOT me I write about) who I "witnessed" taking his first breath of spice and, a mere ten minutes later, giving his testimony that if every gang-banger tried spice they would all renounce violence. (!!!)
So I'm on a quest for fellowship among you good people. Moreover, having lofted for months now, and benefitted enormously from your writings, my debt of gratitude cries out for recognition.
I got my foot in the door a couple of months ago and joined this forum last month. In the mean time, once upon a time in a dream I rounded up the necessary equipment and supplies and extracted my very own first toke of DMT using NoMan's tech and very finely powdered MHRB that required copious amounts of extra basified water before it would yield its treasure. Since that time I've had this recurring dream about extracting more. Lots more. . . a lifetime's personal supply in fact . . . one gallon milk bottle in a sinkful of hot tap water at a time and I dreamed I could do a sodium carbonate wash too and Holy Cow did I dream about a lot of light brown powder! These results were obtained by someone with a 9th grade general science and community college basic biology background and no real chemistry experience at all aside from ensuring the proper amount of sugar was in my coffee cup. Can anyone tell me why SWIM feels so much trepidation before spicing?? Does he overthink this stuff or what?? I mean it's not all candy and ice cream, after all

.......side note; the thing swim feels before dmt blast is great respect..almost all if not all feel it, because of what the spirit molecule can do and show you.. it is respect and very good to have. Come to it with an open heart and know it is a teacher. check the wiki for ways to help ease this feeling. i had ego death about a week ago. changed my life in ways i cannot explane.. i do not spoke easy. but i have much much respect. imho the people here are the bravest i have ever known to partake in this path..... peace to you and your quest...Oden
