Skipped the acidification step. Help!

Good evening gentlemen. SWIM recently began their journey into A/B teks. I have no idea how they manage to do this, but they managed to skip the acid cook step. I advise them to hold on to everything that they still had which was a big jug full of base soup and mhrb powder. As I understand, the molecule is still good we can still pull it out, however I'm curious what the process should be. Just add HCL until it reaches the pH we want? And then will there be by products or side effects in doing this? I wanted to check with my fellow scientist before proceeding. Thank you.

You're basically doing a straight to base. It's good that the bark is powdered. Look at the STB teks.

Thanks! Hmmm they suspected using too much lye. Now I think maybe not enough. They have a black liquid and it was close to water consistency wise. Ph is definitely 14 or higher. Thing is it's in 4 large gallon jars.... I'm thinking we'll reduce volume until it's workable.... I just don't want it to turn into a sludge. Thank you I totally didn't even think of straight to Base. I've personally been working On A to B extractions this whole time
