Smokeable leaf?

Migrated topic.

SWIM is looking for a cheap leaf that can be smoked. He is using a waterbong and wants to put leaf down, then DMT, and then more leaf on top. Preferably a leaf that doesn't require an online order.

Does anyone know of a leaf that can be smoked and melt the DMT? He remembers smoking rosemary as a kid just for fun and it worked alright. Can he use simple store bought spices to help smoke the DMT? He would use MJ but his body doesn't really mix well with it....MJ can have all sorts of shit in it around here.

I like to use mugwort, white sage and mint..mugwort is easy to collect from the wild inmost places..sage is as well..mint grows in lots of gardens at the stores. You can also get sage for cheap at lots of stores used for smudging..

Mugwort and sage both have thujone in them though..

SWIM likes passionflower for this purpose. It makes the trip more ayahuasca like, but is very mild so it doesn’t alter the effects of the DMT by much.

For a non-active herb, SWIM likes peppermint. The menthol in the peppermint really smoothes the smoke. Quite nice actually.

Ages ago SWIM tried smoking on spice on peppermint thinking of the same thing about menthol but in the end it was the most horrible, harsh smoke!

Menthol can be overpowering if too much is used and some peppermint varieties may just have too much of it.

I love it! I love peppermint tea, smoking peppermint, the smell, the taste, the menthol. I love it.

Are you not using a water bong for smoking it? The only good way to smoke it is in a water bong.

That's going to be very hot smoke. You need a water bong for peppermint.

When I smoke herbs like peppermint, I always use a water bong.

When I quit smoking tobacco, I used a 1:1 mix of peppermint and passionflower smoked in a water bong to help get off the tobacco habit. It worked very well. The passionflower helped calm the tobacco withdrawal symptoms and the peppermint made the passionflower taste better.

There are quite a few threads about this, but being as it's a lazy morning for me:

Blue lotus (one of my favorites, very cheap to get)
White lotus (easier on the lungs than blue, not as tasty)
Mullen leaf (mixes well with anything)
Caapi leaf (adds to the experiences)
Passonflower (smokes very harsh, not my favorite by a long shot)
Damania (smells good, tastes good, a bit harsh, but gets the job done)
Parsely (easy to find, cheap, works)
