the interesting thing about this is that you can make herbal combos with the caapi leaves much like its done with the ayahausca brew itself, meaning it gives an oppertunity for you to commune with those plant spirits that you have made into the mix. which is kinda neat!

as far as using naphtha for your solvent... um yeah you could but im not sure if with out washing it after words if there would be any left over distillates that would be smoked into your mix... better to use a clean evaporating ethanol dmt evaps in ethanol really easy with out having to add any heat... the other alternative would be to use acetone... swim has used acetone to infuse cannabis with bufo... which worked like a charm... so SWIM would recommend acetone over naphtha honestly...
