Smoking Caapi leaves then vaping DMT?

Hello all.

I was thinking about giving a new try to the association harmalas/DMT, with Caapi leaves.
I prepared 1g of 10x Caapi leaves with water tek.
Since I don't want to smoke Changa in a bong (afraid to burn spice because of an inappropriate method), I wonder if smoking first a bowl of Caapi leaves then using GVG to vape DMT was a good idea.

I found this thread: first bowl of caapi leaf with a dmt vape after - DMT Experiences - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus but it doesn't contain enough informations about this particular way to use Caapi extract and DMT freebase.

Someone is familiar to such a technic?

Then goto the spice vape.

Smoking harmalas & DMT separately is better than changa IMO. Most common solvents will not dissolve harmalas well & they like to build up on the bottom of the pile during evaporation & disperse unevenly.

10x caapi should work fine but may require you do some experimenting to determine how much to smoke to stretch out & deepen DMT.

I like purified harmalas sandwiched in mullein much better than 10x leaf because dosing is more precise & i only need to smoke a small bowl to get decent effect.

Since you already have 10x caapi leaf you have the perfect opportunity to test the waters & see how sensitive you are to smoked harmalas.

You can smoke changa in the bonga no problem without worry of burning it...but smoking caapi beforehand works fine to

For me smoking just a bowl of non-10x caapi leaf then vaping DMT has a very noticeable effect, so id imagine smoking a bowl of 10x before vaping DMT to be pretty noticeable.

The times that i've smoked caapi leaf prior, id smoke a bowl or two, then a couple minutes after id vape DMT.

* For extracted harmalas, the best way that i've found for me was taking them sublingually, under the tongue, pressed down hard until they fully dissolve. Done properly there's should be little if any bitter taste from holding them under the tongue. It would take about 10 minutes or so for them to dissolve, then id vape DMT 4-5 minutes after they had fully dissolved.

I love changa so much, but im torn on the sublingual harmalas before vaping; I probably almost prefer that method over changa. I've had some pretty insanely beautiful experiences with that method.

@ Tattvamasi: Thank you for the advice concerning Caapi and 10x extract, I'll be carefull! Concerning sublingual and oral harmine, I've tested both and found them interesting alone, but not, thus far, in combination with DMT (I, nevertheless, haven't that much experience). This time,I wanted to test Caapi, and not purified harmalas, because of the many reports of the particular wisdom this plant seems to carry.

@ concombres: Using freebased harmalas was one of my first options (I got extracted harmine and harmaline from Syrian rue) but I finally prefer a "whole spectrum extraction" of Caapi, adding THH (and certainly many others compounds). I was only concerned about the fact that harmalas are going to be in their salt form in my 10x extract, but it seems to work if I believe the many reports I red.
