In order not to use coffee filters, don't shake the pulls when getting them out of the freezer, just pour the hexane slowly in another container, leaving the DMT in the "freezed" container, which you can then scratch off cleanly after the residual hexane has evaporated.Don't throw the hexane away, there's still some DMT in it that didn't precipitate.You can reuse it for a later extraction or two then evaporate it, or even better, use it to recrystalize the DMT THEN evaporate it.But you won't evaporate any hexane in the freezer, get it at 20-30°C (room temp).Just make sure it doesn't get above 35-40°C, to be safe (DMT melts at 40°C).
